
Alabama Consortium for Educational Renewal
The Alabama Consortium for Educational Renewal (ACER) was created in 1997 to support the collaborative development of school-university partnerships. The consortium was developed and jointly funded by The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa County Schools, and Tuscaloosa City Schools.
ACER Mission:
To promote collaboration among faculty members from The University of Alabama and the public schools
To develop school-university partnerships for the purpose of simultaneous renewal of the educational programs
To enhance the success and achievement of all students
